Triple Challenge

The Triple Challenge course consists of three separate short Motorkhana races in one. Each course is timed and judged separately and final scores are based on a mean average of all courses combined. This is a set course to test navigational skills and driver capabilities in a small area. Below is a copy of the three courses used.
It is suggested that both driver and passenger familiarize themselves with the course layout.

Rules

You must wait until the track is clear before starting each course, wait for Marshal clearance.
Penalties will be issued for hitting flags, failure to stop in the garage at the completion of each of the courses, and failure to start at go signal. You must follow the judge’s directions in terms of which arrows to follow and which colour represents left or right. The judges’ decision is final.

Obstacle Course

There are a total of eight obstacles which you will be required to complete. Points are allocated for each obstacle on a Pass or fail, the final obstacle is timed, to determine a winner. If your car requires recovery you will obtain no points for that obstacle, however if your car is still running you will be able to move to the next obstacle.

Rules

At all times the Marshal ruling is final. There is to be no more then one car at a time on each of the Obstacles, you must wait for the signal from the marshal at each obstacle before starting, to ensure that the track is clear. Penalties will be issued for hitting tyres, for hitting barriers, failure to start or stump in the stop garage at the finish and also for recovery.

Quafftumbla Challenge

This event is a timed course; there are a total of nine markers situated along the course. Points are allocated for each marker which is successfully passed and the time taken to complete it. At the third marker there is a “STOP GARAGE”, vehicles must come to a complete stop before continuing. Penalties will be issued if you fail to stop.

Rules

Marshalls signals are to be obeyed at all times. Only one car will be on the course at a time.
Once you have completed the course you must wait for the Recovery Team to escort you back to the event area.

Khana Cross

The Khana Cross course is similar to Triple Challenge, however it is only one short Motorkhana course, to the right is a copy of the course.
